Description:

Mayamar Marine Enterprises of Piraeus had operated the 86,000 dwt tanker FILIKOS between 1981 and 1991. She is seen at Singapore in March 1991.

Built at Monfalcone, Italy, in 1968 as MONICA R. for Mediterranea-Raffineria Siciliana Petroli S.p.A. of Palermo, she was sold in 1979 to Pontoil S.p.A. and renamed OMBRINA

FILIKOS was soon sold to Pakistan breakers, arriving off Gadani Beach on 13.11.91
