Theo, in the 70s when I was a teenager me and my family used to travel around the harbor with these ferries, too, when we were visiting Hamburg (I grew up in a small town about 40 km southwest of Hamburg)...

I admire the owners of Tonne keeping her afloat and in service. The canopy arrangement.... new age design? light years away from the original harbour ferry design. Still, at least she is working. The anchor or ground gear arrangement: When she was built anchorng was certainly seen only as an emergency manoever. Just let them go... For heaving away there is certainly a windlass installed on the foredeck. To put it back in its place attached to the top bulwark just using the crane on the foredeck. And some manpower... A bit like the old square riggers.
Thanks for posting Jens

I must admit that this photo is my personal favorite of all the photos I took today. The light of the setting sun was gorgeous. (And she was built by Sietas):-)
As for her berth... hm... I think I have seen her berthed in Steendiekkanal, but I don't know if it's her usual place to berth...
