She is a former Jadrolinija’s liner operating on route Venice - Rijeka - Split - Dubrovnik - Kotor - Korfu - Pireus. After the opening of Dalmatian coast highway in 1965 she became obsolete as a liner, was laid up in Rijeka for a while until John Letnik, a Slovenian émigré from Toronto struck a deal to have her towed to Canada and convert into a floating restaurant. I have sailed aboard this beauty numerous times, from Dubrovnik to Split.
