Description:

TERTNES was built at Ulsteinvik in 1985 as self-unloading bulkcarrier for the Jebsen-group in Bergen. In 1992 she was lenghtened and rebuilt in Kristiansand to become "Flexible Fallpipe Vessel", to cover oil and gas-pipelines offshore. Seen here in a bow-view while she is working off Kollsnes NW of Ågotnes in Norway 9/11-1995. Her "tower" with the fallpipe going into the sea is clearly seen on her starboard side.
