Because of her nice red and white livery in my opinion together with Oceanex Avalon one of the nicest, almost elegant looking, feeders around...

Oh, I'm sorry, I should have had a closer look at the description box, too. Somehow to me bigger fishing vessels are always trawlers:-)

The "trawler" (which is actually a floating fish processing factory) is 167 m LOA. So yep, that the biggest I saw here.

Ah, I see... but Heluan came quite close to the limit then though the trawler was much more interesting in my eyes. Never seen such here as the fishing industry (and with it Hamburg's fishing fleet) started to decline long before I started shipspotting...

There's a restriction for LOA of being under some 170 m - can't tell the exact number, but those that are 160-200m usually don't go far up by the channel & dock either in Baltiysk or on terminals some 15 km from the port.
Officially the biggest ship I saw docked in my hometown was BALTIYSKAYA SLAVA - http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=1885610
And, well HELUAN - http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=2054741

Yes, completely agree with you, Denis. This is one of our Hamburg regulars I never tire seeing. - And, wow, at 168 m she's already a giant at your hometown?

Thank you for your compliment:-)

Wow, Jens... very cool looking feeder, I especially like her bow part. If I'm not mistaking I think I saw her in my hometown too - not sure how did she fit in...
And wonderful shot as always! :D
