Hi Patrick!
I sailed around two years on her - without cellguides. It's of course possible, that they added some cellguides later though.

Stefan

Hmmm - LR had her as Container Ship - Fixed Guides in 1998

Sietas Typ 137. As far as I know, the only example built. Germanischer Lloyd classes this vessel as "Multi-Purpose Dry Cargo Ship. Equipped for Carriage of Containers". Equasis is wrong in calling her a container ship. Grosstonnage has got it right, though.

Hie there!
Bedankt for your info Frans, that makes it clear.
@dadidships: the "Carina" never had cell guides in her holds (the whole loading and unloading was a serious bodybuilding workout!).

Would she carry grain with her cell guides still in - or have they been removed? Perhaps it's OK with suction discharge?

Strange sight - not a single container on deck but down to her marks. Does anyone know, how she was employed there?
Brgds,
Stefan
