FLYING PHANTOM the longest serving tug now on the Clyde is the last link with the former Clyde Shipping Company for whom she was launched in July 1981 by Ferguson/s at Port Glasgow.
This I took a week or so later when she moved to the Lithgow Kingston Basin upriver at Port Glasgow to begin fitting out.
