1928 -28/04: delivered to "Portland & Weymouth Coaling Co Ltd" at Portland (GBR)(berthed at Castledown Pier, known locally as the 'Posh Boat' due to the pristine condition in which she was kept) (GBR flag, regd Wymouth, ON 124533, c/s MNZW)
1938: To "G.H.Collins & Co.Ltd" at Dartmouth (GBR)
1941: Admiralty service atDartmouth (US Base)
1944 -26/04: assisted in towing US Navy L.S.T. 289 into harbour
1945 -07/09: returned to owners "Channel Coaling Co" (former "Portland and Weymouth Coaling Co") (GBR flag, ON 124533, c/s MNZW)
1949: To "G.H. Collins & Co Ltd" at Weymouth (GBR)
1951 -09/10: To "Falmouth Docks & Engineering Co Ltd" at Falmouth (GBR)
1967 -16/10: for restoration to Richard Dobson at Stoke Gabriel (GBR)
1982 -28/05: donated to the "Maritime Trust" at London (GBR) and maintained by the 'Friends of Portwey'
1994 -xx/06: founding of the "Steam Tug Portwey Association"
1996 -xx/09: grant of 82,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund for replacement of corroded shell plating and steelwork under the boiler work carried out by Denton Shiprepairers of Gravesend
2000 -xx/04: smoke box rebuild completed, removal of 30 fire tubes begun
2000 -07/06: To the "Steam Tug PORTWEY Trust", berthed in West India Dock at London (GBR)
2000 -04/09: new tubes in place, steam raised and boiler successfully tested
2005: still in existence
