|Netherlands Government immigrant ship. 7640 tons Used mainly for the immigrant run to Australia and New Zealand with occasional troop transport from the Far East back to the Netherlands. Built 1944 as the 'Cranston Victory'by Oregon SB Portland. Rebuilt in 1951 as a passenger ship by the NDSM Amsterdam. Laid up in Den Helder 1963 and used as a hostel ship by the Royal Dutch Navy. 1969 sold to Spanish shipbreakers.|
