Thank you all for your kind comments. Too bad I did not manage to get some of the fireworks into the photo aswell: Sadly, I ain't got my own helicopter :-)

Speaking of helicopters: Here is a DPA press photograph of the QUEEN MARY 2's deparure yesterday night. I was on top of the office tower with the brightly illuminated 'crown' on rooftop:

The reason for these festivities was that QM2 was celebrating her 10th anniversary of calling at Hamburg. Her first visit had been on July 19, 2004...
