With an EWS Class 66 seen crossing the viaduct in the background with a coal train, the former fishing trawler 'Ella Hewett' (LO 94), which is now the 317dwt Standby-Safety Vessel named 'St Kitts' (IMO: 6401701), lies below in Inverkeithing bay in a rather forlorn condition as it awaits the inevitable at the hands of RM Supplies (formerly TW Ward) shipbreakers on Thu 9th March 2006 @ 10:23.

i hate seeing ships that i sailed in and the kitts held fond memories for me.i did 3 trips in her and to see this classic ex sidewinder forlorn and dead is sad.out of interest her fishing sistership that was christened robert hewitt[later st luke,then veesea hawk]joined her at wards and both were scrapped kitts origional name was ella hewitt and fished from fleetwood.
