I kind'a like this superstructure. It is actually bigger in size(wider) than many of the other VLCC's of modern type. On older VLCC/ULCC's from the 70's one could often see a large superstructure indicating that at least some sizable accommodation was built for the crew. In the 90's a trend of slim superstructures was put on these large vessels, I have sailed on such vessels, and the accommodation was very small/cramped. When you are on a large VLCC, you very seldom go ashore, so a good accommodation is quite important, more so than when sailing on ships which are alongside once a week or so... :-)

And if berthed next to, say, Triple E, she will look downright small...I have uploaded the picture of her sistership - but still can not really show their size.

The funny thing is, that to me, this new design actually LOOKS smaller than other VLCC's, due to the smaller deckhouse.
