Hi Stefan, yes it has been a strong ship ... 54 years is a big age, there is no doubt but the ship has been well cared for over the years, you can see.

I always thought, those Seebeck/AG Weser-sidetrawlers have been all scrapped decades ago. Now i see ''Vikingur'' is to be scrapped after incredible 54 years of service and only three days ago i saw at this site her sister vessel "Freyr" still existing as "Ross Revenge". tssss - can't believe it!
