Very nice photo, Aleksi the way of painting gives the ship an aerodynamic look :)

Thank you all for your comments, my early wake up on that day wasn't in vain! By the way, her names means safe(ty) in English.

Kind regards,
Aleksi

You are most welcome Trygve. This is what shipspotting is all about, helping each other, learning and most importantly sharing great photos !

Cheers,

Thank You, Dan. Now I can sleep well at night, not concerning about Turva assisting big ships with her helicopter deck.

I am going to try again..

Bollard pull of 100 Tons is exceptional for a Coastguard vessel. I think she is going to shine and be a huge help when things get tough and no help is nearby..

Great photo too BTW.

I think you will find that the edges around the heli-deck will fold up as can be seen in this photo :

Cheers, Dan.

Yes efficient for heavy seas, ice and ships needing help, a s o. For me it seems that the helicopter-deck in front is the first thing to hit big ships if Turva is going to push such big ships. But I must be wrong (?)
