Frank, It presupposes that there is work to get to the ship.

Holedriller, It is as Steve writes, the ship is inspected - bought and paid for before it arrives, so no souvenirs:-)

Holedrile: Well, I took the Atlantic Causeway to scrap in Kaoshiung....every thing that is aboard a ship on scrapping belongs to the ship. And I mean everything.
We were warned: "No souvenirs to be taken."

Yet another 'Marie Celeste' scene. It is just as if the crew were spirited away at 5 seconds notice. Bendt, can you explain to us why the crew don't take the tomato ketchup, the magnifying glass off the desk, even their binoculars?

Cmon guys....... a new chair a little paint on the boards....she will sail for another 41 years !! Such quality doesn't exist anymore.
