I thought she was scrapped a few years back. She looks in great condition for her age.

Yes, it's her.

She is prohibited from ever berthing in the USA again under the US Oil Pollution Act. Read more here:

Exxon has been trying to get the ban lifted for years. She's US built and as you will all know, building replacement tankers in the USA to qualify for Jones Act (intra-USA) trading is horribly expensive. Exxon hasn't been successful:

Seems to be interesting if she was that notorious Exxon Valdez, which ran aground in Prince William Sound, Alaska, on 24 March, 1989.
