Description:

Found this one in Aarhus port (dock 8000). No idea what it is, actually, it looks like the hull of a mega yacht.

Hi Dixon, thank you for the information about the fate of this motor yacht. Eventually, the secret is disclosed...
With regard to your explanation, the "Wrecks and Relics" category might fit best.
Regards, David

Royal Denship had their luxury yachts build in different shipyards around Denmark, but at the end they wanted to build large yachts in GRP themselves, and rented one of the old steel halls at the former Aarhus Flydedok. Unfortunately RD went bankrupt before delivering the first yacht, which is the hull in the pick.

Thanks Allan for the hint. I did some research work, but exact info about the Royal Denship remains are very meagre. However, on Wikipedia it sounds as if all yachts, which had been built in Aarhus were finished after the broke in 2009. Either this info is incorrect or the hull came from another shipyard.
Regards David

I do not know the name of the ship, but believes that it is the remains of Royal Denship who built luxury yachts until 2009 when the company went bankrupt.

Royal Denship built lovely motor yacht, just make a Google search: Royal Denship
