Hello jandran,

Pomerania (Polish: Pomorze) is a historical region on the south shore of the Baltic Sea. The name Pomerania comes from Slavic "po" "more", which means Land at the Sea so BAR POMORZA could mean in translation MARITIME BAR. Probably the name: BAR POMORZA comes from SV DAR POMORZA- is a Polish sailing frigate built in 1909 which is preserved in Gdynia as a museum ship. BAR POMORZA and DAR POMORZA are now permanently moored at the Pomorskie quay in Gdynia. GDY-50 is old (1957) wooden- steel boat.

Kind regards
Jan Roeske
