Any similarity between this ship and Dominion Monarch completely escapes me! There is no break in the forward superstructure separating the bridge from the rest of the ship. It is just very long continuous superstructure, her appearance being typical of coastal or river vessels. She was built for River Plate service between Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro and served this route with a sister vessel 33 Orientales, which ended up as a cruise ship in Greek waters.
