I agree, Esshu Maru, IMO 9666560:
thanks davidships, for solving this mystery!
Not LNG VENUS. Before 12 Sep she was moved, and already had her name/IMO/port on the stern.
See video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJ0gWoVF_U0
Why would they paint it over shortly before delivery?
Near the end of the video can be seen a sistership in advanced state of external outfit (though not at the location of Dirk's photo)
There seem to be two sisters to LNG VENUS already launched and for MOL operation:
IMO 9645748 - ?? (Yd 2296) - lnchd 22 Aug 2014 - delivery due Jun 2015
IMO 9666560 - ESSHU MARU (Yd 2298) - lnchd 11 Apr 2014 - delivery due Dec 2014
My money would be on ESSHU MARU
IMO 9645736 belong to: LNG VENUS
Yard name: Mitsubishi Nagasaki 2295

Vessel is either LNG Venus or possibly Mitsubishi Nagasaki 2296, IMO 9645736.
Does anybody know?
