Yes David, that is a bit of a mystery, the cost of towage to Holland could have helped much to repair her locally or some other dockyard in the Med.

Sailed Malta 28/6/2015 in tow tug BRENT for Terneuzen, and reported sold. ETA 16/7. Has had Dutch managers since 9/2014: Universal Marine, Krimpen a/d Ijssel.

She arrived in Malta in August 2014, and been detained under PSC since 29/10.

I'm a bit surprised that she would be towed to Netherlands for repairs - I would have thought that it would be cheaper either locally or in the Eastern Med. One to watch.
