I think she is the DPII ROV Support Vessel Odyssey Explorer

Built 1972 as Farnella for J.Marr Ltd.
Owners: Odyssey Retriever Inc. Florida USA.
Rebuilt for survey 1984 – Rebuilt to DPII (in house) 1993 and re-named Northern Prince – sold August 2003.

Sorry Trasgu but i'm looking at a photo of the Northern Prince ( on the front cover of the book : The MARR Story ) and the ship above is completely different. The wheelhouse is too far forward, of the wrong shape and she has an A-Frame just aft of the wheelhouse that the Northern Prince just never had.

Odyssey Explorer

Thats a recent photo of the Northern PRince for comparison.

I'll have a dig around see if I can find out anything about this ex-trawler but she looks like she could be German built ( similar to several West German freezer trawlers built in the late 1960'searly 1970's )
