She is classic Clive, I remember as a 7yo seeing her for the first time as the Spirit of London when she arrived in Southampton fresh from the builders and the buzz surrounding her introduction into service heralding a new era for P&O Cruises, she was going to be a new breed of 'Spirits' for P&O but was not to be as she was soon absorbed into the Princees fleet once it was taken over by P&O in 1974.
