Originally completed as Seven Ace and sold in 1984 by Hakuyo Kisen to Toshin Kisen and r/n Seven Skies. The JL charter began in 1985 when the Danes upgraded from their oroginal Jap charter fleet of bulkers with derricks. There were also four Imabari built logfitted bulkers chartered from new in 1985/6 - Arctic, Alaska, Astoria Traders, not quite the 'A' class as the Bothnia Trader was also picked up. In 1989 Adriatic Trader was sold yo Nikko Kisen and r/n Mognolia in direct continuance of the JL charter that lasted until about 1992. Seen that year still in full JL colours, will try and locate pic.
