Admiral Nevelskoi Yacht (Maritime Museum ) The Yacht was Formerly for the Russian Federal Government who Give to Honorary Consul Eric Typhis Degtyarenko in 2010. The yacht sailed across the ocean under the Command of professor Leonid Lysenko for several research expedition for the Maritime State University (Admiral Nevelskoi in Vladivostok) In 1995 The yacht was sailing in the Indian Ocean with only Leonid Lysenko on board . The mast broke and the rudder of the yacht too .. The yacht drifted for 21 days and Leonid was rescued by a Ukrainian Ship (Arkaja) The Arkaja brought him to South Africa from there he went back to Russia. He abandoned the Yacht thinking that it will sink .But the yacht did not sink it travel crewless trough the Indian Ocean for 2 years . In 1997 it was found in the small Island of Rodrigues. The Authority decided to remove it from the sea and put it on the shore. The Yacht remain there till 2010 when Eric Typhis Degtyarenko Found it and contacted the Russian Authority and University . They decided to make it a museum as it is the only Link in the Indian Ocean for Russia. In 2013 was the 200 Anniversary of Admiral Nevelskoi and the yacht was re evaluated . Due to its Historical value , it was estimated several thousands million of dollars making it one of the most expensive yacht of its category. Leonid Lysenko wrote a very nice book on the yacht in 2004 the ISBN No is 5-98567-002-003, he told all his adventure on the yacht in the book.
