@Ruslan, this was my first visit to Dubai, and I even managed to get inside DDD, which was not exactly on the map of Dubai tourist attractions... :)

As for Queen Elizabeth 2, she does have two cargo vessels alongside, but she's first at the pier, and there are some works going on inside. This is a repair shipyard, after all, so it doesn't really matter where the ship is positioned. I was told that she was "kept in class", awaiting her new role as a hotel, so her future shouldn't look bleak...

A sorry sight indeed, the Majesty of the QE2, and surrounded by 13 mixed cargo/container/tankers, she should be positioned in a place of pride on her own

QE 2 seems to have 2 cargo ships at her side. I think that this did not happen very often in her "older" days.
