The works to repair her doesn't like going very fast. She still have the logo of the SNCM on funnel but was sold nine months ago.

Funnel is of a design that was in vogue at the time and is not so big if one excludes observation lounge incorporated in its base.

Probably mumbles ... it's possible, that was the first goal :-) but the imposing HUGE funnel(s) have nothing to do with "pax, berths and ro-ro capacity" of this ship; :D

Designers aim was more likely to produce a ferry with required pax, berths and ro-ro capacity within dimensions that would allow it fit into ports intended to be served

I agree with you Cody,, however the Designers have reached their goal: unique design + eye-catching !! ..... doesn't matter we like it or not :-)
