Lyttelton (1907) 292grt. Reg.New Zealand
23-1-06 Steam Tug used for Harbour Excursions on Lyttelton Harbour.
Built in Glasgow,sailed out too New Zealand under her own steam too her owners, the then Lyttelton Harbour Board arriving 11-9-07.
Originally named "Canterbury" she was renamed "Lyttelton" 1911.
Retired from service in 1970there was talk of scrapping her untill she was taken over in 1972 by the "Tug Lyttelton Preservation Society",she commenced her new role as a passenger vessel for Harbour Excursions late in 1973
