In the early morning around 8 o'clock I saw from my kitchen window the containership NORTHERN JASPER preparing for departure from Rijeka container terminal ..... the weather above Rijeka was bad, cloudy deep-grey and wet with slight rain ..... therefore, I was not intending to shoot any photo.
Suddenly I changed my mind, grabbed my camera and ran to the balcony & shot this photo the very last minute (the next minute ship's bow was hidden by the skyscraper that is to the left side of my view from the balcony).

Excellent pic thanks, Jadran, well done. Its the cruise ship season here at the moment, this week we had the Celebrity Solstice, Diamond Princess, Radiance of the Seas, and the Seven Seas Mariner, unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, our summer has been a bit average so far. Thanks again mate!

Good to see more from your famous balcony

Hi David,, the mountain seen in the background is UCKA with its highest peak named Vojak that is located 1,396 mtrs above the sea level.

Makes me much happy that you like this photograph, David ..... and moreover, that you like the Mountain and the scenery of Kvarner Bay that can be seen from my apartment balcony; some people say I'm a lucky guy for that ! xD

Unfortunately the skyscraper is still there !!! "just in front" of the ship's bow ....... and that circumstance will do me a big problem when shooting ship's of length 367 mtrs which are due to call onto Rijeka container terminal in very soon time :-))
