Thanks for your comment Derek and David.
After a visit of the Dutch Shipping Inpection there were found some defects. The Tama Hope shift after loading to the IJmondharbour to repair this defects. Maybe this is the reason why the life boats are in the water.They were there for about a week.

I expect this is some sort of lifeboat drill. Many times this happens at Felixstowe with the big container ships. Lowering the boat and sometimes having a motor around in the harbour before it being returned to its ship.

Excellent shot of a real beauty. Do you (or someone else) know why they removed the life boats and attached them to the portboard side?
