@ Andreas,, yep,, definitely interesting stuff you post. I know one of the old Meyer-Brake vessels was converted to a live stock carrier. I sailed on one of them in the late 70,s as AB. Most of them went to the med and Arabian peninsula. I wasn,t in the Red-Sea and Golf of Aden and the PG since about 2002,,Not really hot to go back there anyhow :-)))

Thanks for your comment Frits. For me it is always a highlight to get one of this old vessels on a photo. A lot of history in this 50 year old vessels not like the ships form today.

Many ex. German coaster are converted into cattle ships similarly the "Rebena", beautiful picture Andreas and thanks for posting on shipspotting.
