Built 1940 NV Nederlandsche Scheepsbouw-Mij, Amsterdam (Yd 276)

Built for USSR as VYACHESLAV MOLOTOV, named after Stalin's protegé and Foreign Minister, and delivered only days before the German in vasion of The Netherlands.
Molotov fell from power after the denunciation of Stalin by Kruschev in 1956 and the following year the ship was renamed BALTIKA

Built 1940 as "VYACHESLAV MOLOTOV" by Nederlandsche, Amsterdam. 7494gt.
renamed Baltika 1957.
BU Gadani Beach 28.3.87 [Muzaffar Ahmed & Co]

Great shot Alan. I cruised on her in 1971, very basic compared with today but brilliant all the same.
