Florian. If the ship is popular and award-winning that's really all that is important. If I were to travel on a Greek ferry I would want to experience a wholly Greek vessel and not something that would but more in tune with my Northern European tastes. Perhaps this reception area is very 'modern' Greek but I do find it to be very shiny.

@ Clive:

From what I heard and read in greek forums this class of ship is pretty popular in greece.
I personally like her (and her sisters) a lot. In my opinion she is a really comfortable vessel.

But I absoutely accept your point of view. Opinions often differ. And that´s ok. :)

Just to add:
In 2000 KNOSSOS PALACE was elected as the world´s best cruise ferry by the "Cruise & Ferry Info" magazine.
Additionally, in the Cruise & Ferry Conference / Lloyd's List competition she won the Best Overall Interior Design Award
(category ferries).

Luxurious? Well, hard to tell from this photo. It is certainly awfully shiny. I'd hate to try and walk through that space when I was drunk....!!

passenger ?

Hi Ted,
Yes luckily! :) She is certainly one of the world´s most luxurious ferries. So it´s no wonder, I really enjoyed this very pleasant trip.

Regards,
Florian

I was just replying here, as I forgot to mention the copyright sign at the first upload and so wanted to re-upload it. Sorry! Apart from the added copyright it´s the same picture.
