To Shiploversa...thank you. I di also cruise on the Betsy Stink...Ross...I referred to MSC Cruises and not to TFC. Whilst the Foggitt Family were,(and still are) instrumental in introducing cruising to RSA, I was referring to the development of MSC Cruises.

Besides the Achille, this is the ship that set up MSC Cruises !

She replaced the Achille Lauro for the South African summer cruise season after the former caught fire and sunk off the Somali coast. What a lovely ship. The bridge was from another world...wood, brass...timeless.
