In 1994 or 95 Baltietis arriwed to Slite-Gotland-Sweden from Riga-Latvia.
Baltietis came as a smugglership. The Tug had over sixty refugees (some
of them children) from Pakistan onboard. When they arriwed the crew used
weapon to force theirs "passengers" into liferafts, outside the coast of
Gotland. They did all went ashore safety. Baltietis were soon taken by the Swedish Coast Guard. The crew
was arrested, and soon after that, judged to prison in Sweden. The crew
rented Baltietis from the Latvian owners.
