Arrested at Halifax 1994, on suspicion of drug importation. Captain was extradited to Scotland and jailed for decades. After 3 years in Halifax, ship was sold at Sheriff's auction, and renamed as "Sylvina Express II". Following Port State Control inspection by Transport Canada Marine Safety, a long list of Deficiencies was recorded. When these deficiencies were corrected, the ship was released to proceed to Miami. Some time later it was arrested for drug importation, and scuttled off Florida.
