CARIBBEAN TRADER (Panama) - 12 May 2001 - Photographed while she was sailing downbound in the Welland Canal north of lock 3 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.. She was carrying a cargo of coal tar from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and was destined for Bordeaux, France..

IMO 8001452 - She was built in Saiki, Japan in 1980 for the Tama Maritime Corporation, Panama as TAMA CARIBBEAN. Renamed CARIBBEAN TRADER in 1999 by Torkel Alendal Rederi AS of Norway.. On 7 October 2005 after she had been retired from service CARIBBEAN TRADER arrived off Alang, India where, several days later, she was beached for demolition..
