It was very difficult to get a photo of any of the USS inter-island ferries as generally they arrived and sailed in darkness, the only movements were ocassional day trips to Picton or moving across the harbour to a different berth.

Splended. I can never get enough of the handsome ships of the Union Steamship Co of New Zealand.
