Hi Steve, nice to hear from you:-) yes you are right it is fascinating to come down in a carefully maintained engine room and I must say that almost all the ships that come to Fornaes is interior-related well-kept, if it has anything to do with they are Scandinavian, I do not know.

Bendt, Hi again....(Long-time-no-comments!) I never ceased to be amazed by the sheer "beauty" of the engine rooms that end up at Grenaa.....They seem to be always so beautifully clean & ordered. Like the men that worked them over the working years of the ships...they reflect the care & attention...and the pride that those people had in their work. That is a dying attitude that pains me so.....
I note that most of the ships scrapped at Grenaa are of Scandinavian heritage....They reflect well on your part of the world: Passion & Pride is self-evident. Keep up the good work. I, for one appreciate it immensely. Cheers. S.
