Thanks !! No effect and no filter. In night views I use in-between lens aperture (f9 f11), lowest iso posible and usually the speed its too slow ... No problema a tripod or a good bolard in its absence.

Thanks Cody, I've either learned something new, or remembered something that had slipped my mind haha! But as I think about it, a lot of the photos that I take at night are wide open so I wouldn't be seeing much of a starburst effect...

Hi 64Pacific, the starburst effect is due to the diffraction of light caused a small lens aperture such as f/14.
