With Aris's initiative, more of this vessel's history is now known:

With joint efforts by me and my good friend Aris Bilalis we made an interesting discovery about this one. She is an old Greek owned tug from Danube. Using Lavrion Official Registry we were searching for a cargo ship converted from a tug and found this info :

ATHINA, Reg. at Lavrion (off .no 2). Registered 05/1926. Steam tug, 111 gt, 30 m X 7 m. Owner : K. Kyriakidis.
1939 : Sold to Ourania Valsamaki & Co.
1949 : Converted to a cargo ship
1950 : Renamed KOSTIS
04/1959 : Renamed ANDRONIKOS R.
09/1969 : Renamed CHRYSAVGI
25-6-1981 : Re-Registered at Chios (off. no 214)
XX-XX-1991 : Renamed PANAGIA ROUHOUNIOTISSA I. Owner : K. Platigos

Used as a tender for the ships calling at Chios Roads for many years, then laid up at Katarraktis, Chios.
At some point she was moved to a small yard near Chios Port where she remains laid up until today.

She is mentioned in the 1930 list of the book by S. Focas "The Greeks in the river shipping of lower Danube" :
ATHINA, 130 BHP, Greek Flag. Owner : P. Kyriakidis, Greece.

After her conversion to a cargo ship she was registered as "built in 1949" (very common at the time)

We are searching for her pre-1926 career. Can anyone help ?

Built 1949, 75 gt, registered at Chios (off. no 214). Greek Flag since 1991. Owner : Platigos K. If i remember correctly she was rebuilt from a former Romanian Tug.
