Thank you Alexandros just the same for your intended aid, but all I got from those two links is a page in Greek language which unfortunately I don't understand, but just the same thank you for your efforts. Regards.

Here is an enlargement of the same picture uploaded from nautilia.gr that shows more of her:

Dear Emmanuel L, unfortunately there are no pictures of her with the twin masts. The best I can do is to upload from the greek forum nautilia.gr a fuzzy picture taken in Zea port, near Piraeus, with the day cruisers Meltemi I & II in the foreground and her partly visible with the two masts in the background.

Hi Alexandros, have you got a photo of PALOMA with the aft mast still in place? ,or maybe someone has a pic of her with this aft mast.Best regards.

Well SteKrueBe, her builders were Japanese, and somehow that high flare to her bow identifies her origin, even during WW2 Japanese warships sported that beautiful bow shape. Best regards.

I remember her berthed for many years at the port of Zea near Piraeus, and also moored at Vouliagmeni on the south coast of Athens when she was owned by the Goulandris family (of Greek Line fame). Her original design included a tall mainmast aft of the funnel similar to the existing one giving the impression of having two horns line a oversize rhinoceros. I suppose the aft mast was removed after her sale to the present owners.

Regarding her shape, i'm the same opinion like Emmanuel. I would add, that her bow reminds me a tiny little bit on those of older japanese fishing vessels. But anyhow - it's pleasure to look at this classic yacht and her Grand background. Chapeau!

The PALOMA ,as you sais Greta ,though registered in UK is French owned and yes in 2007 Mr.Sarkozy was on the vessel when he spend a few days in the Maltese islands just after the French election.Regards.

I may be wrong, but feel she is owned by the french businessman Vincent BOLLORE (owner of SCAC, major shareholder of Vivendi,...).
just after his election in 2007, president Sarkozy spent some days onboard this ship.

Hi Clive ,I would have preferred to have her funnel a little bit smaller and her mast a bit not that thick, but all in all for a yacht built 60 years ago she still looks great. Regards.
