The ALMÉE was the yacht of Henri Menier. It was launched at Le Havre on May 10, 1887. In 1913, its owner dead and after, the ship served as troopship during WW1. After war, it was laid up on the Marne. In 1926, it was bought by two peoples who moved it to the Bourget Lake (where it's always). It's use as barge, but it's regulary aground. During all WW2, it's aground on the edges of the lake. After WW2, it's bought by a people who tranfsorm it as a ferry under a new name, HAUTECOMBE. But two catastrophs on Leman's lake (in Switzerland) in 1969 and 1970, the HAUTECOMBE is took out of service. A people bought it, retired engines and used it as floating storage. In 1976, it's bought by an other people who transform it as a maritime store under her original name, L'ALMÉE,at Aix-Les-Bains, on edges of Bourget lake it never left since 1926.

Après la guerre, il est désarmé sur la Marne. En 1926, il est acheté par deux personnes qui l'amène jusqu'au lac du Bourget (où il est toujours). Il est utilisé comme barge, mais il est régulièrement échoué. Pendant toute la Deuxième Guerre mondiale, il est échoué sur les berges du lac. Après la guerre, il est acheté par une personne qui le transforme en ferry sous un nouveau nom, HAUTECOMBE. Mais à cause de deux catastrophes sur le lac Léman (en Suisse) en 1969 et 1970, le HAUTECOMBE est retiré du service. Une personne l'achète, retire les moteurs et l'utilise comme entrepot flottant. En 1976, il est acheté par un autre personne qui le transforme en magasin maritime sous son nom original, L'ALMÉE, à Aix-Les-Bains, sur les berges du lac du Bourget qu'il n'a pas quitté depuis 1926.
