Thanks B.Clark,just beneath the Baracca gardens is the saluting battery on a lower level where 8 replica guns are sited , at 12 noon a gun is fired and also when a cruise liner enters harbour for he first time.A gun salute was also fired when the HMAS ANZAC visited Malta for the 100 year commemoration of Gallipoli landings. regards.

Although the TCG ISKENDERUN A1600 has a dull military colour, her crew and officer cadets on board compensated for this by lining the rails and giving a wonderful salute in their immaculate white summer rig. regards.
