I think Bertolini must be one of the biggest tranport companies in the Amazon area with plenty of barges and pusher tugs. During my trip I saw several ones.

I am unfamiliar with how some of the Brazilian companies name their boats. Do they include barges as part of their numbering system? If only boats have the Roman numeral as part of their names, some of these companies may have hundreds of pushers/towboats. As stated previously, this area is a "dead" area when it comes to photos of boats being posted. Unless there is a web site devoted to Brazilian or Amazon River pushers that I don't know about.
