"Lofoten" is still in service in the Coastal Express Line. "Nordstjernen" is retired, but still sailing.

At least we still have the Nordstjernen.

Sad sight. She is one of the proud ships made for she Coastal Express Line (Hurtigruten) on most of the Norwegian Coast, up to Kirkenes, close to the Russian border. A round trip Bergen - Kirkes -Bergen takes 11 days.

I think one could say that this is a coup de grâce... she was such a beauty before she became... err... this!
