"Lofoten" is still in service in the Coastal Express Line. "Nordstjernen" is retired, but still sailing.

Shocking that this was allowed. How could anybody take responsibility for destroying such a beauty ? A warehouse designer ?

Sad sight. She is one of the proud ships made for she Coastal Express Line (Hurtigruten) on most of the Norwegian Coast, up to Kirkenes, close to the Russian border. A round trip Bergen - Kirkes -Bergen takes 11 days.
