|One of the pair of former Canadian Navy Porte-class gate vessels left abandoned at Anacortes, Washington during an attempt at yacht conversions. After sitting derelict for a number of years they were seized by the State of Washington Department of Natural Resources. Since then their scrapping has been contracted out, and one of the pair is seen here on the barge KP-3 on the Duwamish River.
Identification of the specific vessel is virtually impossible, as both were modified in an identical manner and bear no identifying markings.
EDIT: Through the shape of one of the aft scuppers, I have finally identified which vessel is which. Carrying that ID over to the green paint at the waterline and the various paint scrapes, I have confirmed this as the ex-PORTE QUEBEC YNG 185.
