The photo was taken in beginning of 1983 when I was 2.mate on board. We traded between Imbituba, Santos, Victoria and Salvador Bahia. The cause of the list was an automatic closing valve between 2 ballast tanks which suddenly would not close.

I wasn't the author of this photo.
You can see in the legend that the really photographer was Capt. Carlos Dufriche (in memorian).
The family give me permission to publish their photos.
The possibly year of this casualty is 1984.

Searching the internet I find a possible year of charter to Hipermodal: 1985.
But no reference of the accident, not in Marine News of WSS in the periode 1982 - 1988 as ro/ro either (was later rebuilt as ferry).
