Procopiou brothers bought the ship as "Evrymedon" from Leonidas Moustakas(Ocean Freighters S.A., Piraeus).

IOANNA was owned by brothers George and Dimitri Procopiou (Sea Trades S.A.). Procopiou brothers, civil engineers with a reputable family construction business in Athens, set up Sea Traders S.A. in 1974 and operated mainly general cargo and heavy lift ships. A few ships were bought from Hansa in Hamburg with TC back to the sellers. Later on the two brothers split up the interests and set up their own companies. George Procopiou set up Dynacom Tankers Management and also kept Sea Traders, whilst Dimitri set up Centrofin Management.
