BC Ferries' Terminal at Skidegate Landing on Haida Gwaii (formerly the Queen Charlotte Islands). This is located off the northern coast of British Columbia, Canada, about 100 km west of the port of Prince Rupert.

Here we see the 'Kwuna' (IMO 7512117) & the 'Northern Advanture' (IMO 9257735).

The Kwuna connects the two largest islands in Haida Gwaii, sailing between Skidegate Landing on Graham Island & Alliford Bay on Moresby Island. Its crossing time is about 20 minutes & its auto capacity is listed at 26.

The Northern Adventure connects Haida Gwaii with Prince Rupert & is seen here loading for Prince Rupert, on the mainland across Hecate Strait. This crossing takes between 6 & 12 hours depending on sea conditions, whether the trip is during the day or overnight, & which vessel is assigned to the route. Crossing frequency is 2x weekly in winter & 5x weekly in summer. Through much of the year BC Ferries' other 'northern ship' the Northern Expedition (IMO 9408413) is assigned to this route.
